Having dropped points on the opening day at home to Hamilton, Rangers looked like conceding more ground in this year’s title race as Motherwell led for much of Saturday’s clash at Ibrox. But in Kenny Miller, Gers have a man who doesn’t know when he’s beaten.

Mark Warburton’s side had to come from behind, after Scott MaDonald put Well one-up inside 20 minutes.

But Harry Forrester levelled-up shortly after the hour mark, before Miller sent the home crowd into raptures.
