ICYMI: Sinclair sinks Partick and hands Celtic 12th straight win

Scott Sinclair’s cool finish from Liam Henderson’s well-worked free-kick handed Celtic a narrow 1-0 win against Partick Thistle last night. 

This latest victory was the Hoops’ 12th in a row and affords Brendan Rodgers’ side a 14-point gap at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership.

It was a gritty success but showed the strength in-depth Celtic possess, with Rodgers making eight changes to his line-up.

Thistle remain bottom of the table but showed enough fighting spirit and positivity to suggest they’re more than capable of hauling themselves away from a relegation battle.

However, Alan Archibald’s side were made to rue their missed opportunities on the night and the Bhoys continue to march on.
