ICYMI: Celtic late show hammers Ross County in the Highlands

Celtic went seven points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership last night after a late three goal salvo saw Brendan Rodgers’ side end Ross County’s resistance at the Global Energy Stadium.

The visitors eventually ran out 4-0 winners with Patrick Roberts kicking-off proceedings after just three minutes.

However, the game was finely poised until the closing stages with the Staggies’ Andrew Davies almost equalising with a headed effort that came back off the post.

Then Stuart Armstrong’s cool finish after 83 minutes eased any nerves in the away end while goals from Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele added the icing on the cake.
