Celtic overcame Motherwell 4-3 in a Ladbrokes Premiership thriller on Saturday afternoon with Tom Rogic’s late winner eventually breaking the hosts’ resolve.

Mark McGhee’s side enjoyed a two-goal advantage at one stage with Louis Moult’s brace handing Well a first-half lead.

However, the Bhoys came out fired up following the break and it took Callum McGregor just three minutes to haul his side back into contention.

Patrick Roberts then levelled with his equaliser sparking a three-goal spree in as many minutes.

Lionel Ainsworth volleyed the hosts ahead soon after although Stuart Armstrong quickly replied.

Rogic then had the final say with his low drive settling a captivating encounter.

Celtic are eight points clear at the top with three games in hand while Motherwell drop to ninth in the table.
