Celtic travel to Tynecastle to take on third-placed Hearts this weekend and the Bhoys look certain to leave the capital as Ladbrokes Premiership champions in all but name.

The Hoops currently lead second-placed Aberdeen by nine points, with four games left to play.

With a goal difference of +53 compared to the Dons’ +17 three points against Hearts will see the title remain at Parkhead barring an unprecedented turn of events.

And while Celtic’s away form has been questionable of late – just one win in four attempts – history suggests Ronny Deila’s side will brush Saturday’s hosts aside with relative ease.

Hearts last beat Celtic in April 2012 and with the Glaswegian side winning 12 and drawing two of the subsequent meetings the odds for an away win look generous even at 8/13.

Robbie Neilson’s side can be backed at 4/1 to force the champions to wait a while longer to retain their crown, while it’s 3/1 the sides play out a third draw in five meetings.

However, while the odds on a Celtic win are appealing better value could be had by backing the champions-elect to secure victory in style with a glut of goals and a clean sheet.

Celtic have scored three or more in eight of their last 14 meetings with the Midlothians and with over 2.5 away team goals priced up at 15/8 it could pay to back another goal fest.

The Bhoys have also managed to keep Hearts at bay in eight of those fixtures, winning to nil an impressive seven times, and at 2/1 they’ll certainly appeal to those expecting another victorious shut out.

Leigh Griffith’s has been in sensational form this season, smashing 29 goals in 31 league appearances and there’s still time to jump on the bandwagon, with the hitman 14/5 to score first for the 16th time this season and  3/4 to strike at anytime.

For those looking for bigger returns, however, the Correct Score and Scorecast markets could come into play.

Celtic have won this fixture 3-0, 4-0 (twice), 5-0 and 7-0 in recent years so there could be plenty of interest in the 11/1, 22/1, 50/1 and 225/1 respectively on a repeat of any of those results.

With the 4-0 scoreline popping up twice in that run though the bet of the day could be the 50/1 suggesting Griffiths nets the opener in a 4-0 win for the Bhoys.
