Callum Paterson strike earns Ladbrokes Goal of the Week prize

Congratulations go to Hearts full-back Callum Paterson after his stunning strike against Motherwell earned the Jam Tarts star the Ladbrokes Goal of the Week award.

Paterson’s effort put the visitors into a two-goal lead at Fir Park with Robbie Neilson’s side going on to win the game 3-1.

It was a contest that featured two of this week’s candidates with a stunning free-kick from Well’s James McFadden also on the shortlist.

Meanwhile, Paterson also beat off competition from Aberdeen’s Adam Rooney and Inverness Caley Thistle’s Liam Polworth.

Here’s another chance to relive the magic of our winning goal…

Paterson’s strike will go into the mix for the SPFL’s monthly award, alongside the James Maddison free-kick from last week.
