After an underwhelming start to the season, Aberdeen have rediscovered their form in recent weeks. The Dons are now just three points off third-placed Rangers, and into the League Cup Final.

Visitors Hibernian lost their way a bit in October, but will be desperate to bounce back and secure a first win in four games as they head to Pittodrie.

Match Odds

The Dons are bouncing right now, with four wins from five in all competitions. And they face a Hibs side who haven’t won at Pittodrie in five visits, losing three.

In the Match Betting, Aberdeen are 13/10 favourites for maximum points. The Draw is 21/10, with a Hibs win priced at 9/4.

The Granite City outfit have chalked up three wins by a 2-0 scoreline since the start of April, and are 10/1 for another 2-0 win. Meanwhile, it’s 4/6 we see this fixture produce Under 2.5 Goals for the fourth time in a row.

Talking Tactics

Derek McInnes will likely stick with the 4-2-3-1 system which has been working wonders of late. Teenage prodigy Lewis Ferguson has surely earned his spot in the starting XI after recent displays.

Up top, Manchester United loanee James Wilson has slotted in immediately at Pittodrie, and is always a threat.

Hibs are a bit more unpredictable tactically, switching between a 3-5-2 and a more conventional four at the back. Whatever the system, Stevie Mallen and Vykintas Slivka can be expected to start in midfield.

Goalscorer Odds

Gary Mackay-Steven is a regular scourge of the Hibees. He’s scored more goals against this opposition than any other, including four in last term’s three meetings.

He’s 12/5 to score Anytime, while the odds make him 14/1 to net Two or More Goals.

As for Wilson, he’s impressed of late – and bagged a goal in the recent home win over Hamilton Academical. The loan ace is 9/5 find the net again.

The visitors’ best chance of a goal could lie with current top scorer Florian Kamberi at 21/10.
