Robbie Nielson’s Hearts have impressed in their first season back in the Ladbrokes Premiership, but without a win in their last four, the Jam Tarts are set to be swept aside by an Aberdeen side who are imperious at Pittodrie.
The Dons are unbeaten in their last 12 home games, winning eight times during this run, which stretches back to October.
The last meeting of these two in Aberdeen was one of those eight victories, with Adam Rooney’s late penalty enough to claim all three points in a game the north-east outfit should have won by more.
Having scored nine in the past three matches on their own patch, the smart money could be on the Reds to net several times against the Edinburgh outfit.
Aberdeen to win 3-0 (16/1) and 3-1 (12/1) could interest many, with McInnes’ side not having conceded more than once in any game at Pittodrie since Boxing Day of 2015. Hearts, meanwhile, have only scored three times in their last six away trips, in all competitions.
The injury to Adam Rooney may have given confident backers reasons to doubt the Dons, but there are plenty of other attacking options to step up to the plate.
MK Dons loanee Simon Church (9/2 to score first) looks likely to feature, having netted six times since he joined the Dons in February.
Meanwhile, the experienced Niall McGinn (11/2) is in double figures for this campaign and Kenny McLean (also 11/2) has scored three in his last six games.
Aberdeen are 20/21 to win tonight, with the visitors 13/5 and it’s also 13/5 that we see a share of the spoils.
And we’re giving you more ways to enjoy the excitement at Pittodrie with a pair of great price boosts. Aberdeen to lead at half-time and win is now 5/2 from 2/1 and Hearts to score two or more goals is now 2/1 from 6/4.
