The fixtures are out for the 2017-18 Ladbrokes League 2 season with Annan Athletic set to face newly-relegated Peterhead on the opening day.

The Galabankies finished last term in third position before missing out on promotion via the play-offs. And Jim Chapman’s side will be eager to showcase their current credentials against the Blue Toon.

Edinburgh City have a home game against another of last season’s play-off contenders, Montrose, while Berwick Rangers will host Clyde.

Cowdenbeath secured their SPFL status with a Pyramid play-off success over East Kilbride, and Gary Locke’s side will be looking to build on that next term. They begin with a game away at Elgin City.

Elsewhere, Stenhousemuir will start life in League 2 by welcoming Stirling Albion to Ochilview Park.
