Both the top and the bottom of the Ladbrokes Championship table are beginning to look more settled as the weeks go on, but there is still plenty of time for things to change.
Second place Hibernian get the weekend underway with their fixture with Morton scheduled for Tuesday, but there are four fixtures to enjoy on Saturday first and foremost.
Here are the best bets ahead of kick-off.
Dumbarton v Livingston
Neither of these two come into this fixture in particularly good form with the hosts picking up just two points from their last five games while Livi have accrued just one.
The problem seems to be in the goalscoring department with The Sons netting just once in that period while the visitors can boast just one more than that.
All those things seem to point to this one being a low scoring affair between these two strugglers.
Best bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 10/11
Raith Rovers v Queen of the South
Finding the back of the net has been a problem for Raith too with the Rovers without a goal in their last four fixtures in all competitions.
Queen of the South can overtake Ray McKinnon’s side with a win here and catapult themselves into a play-off position.
The Doonhamers have won their last two fixtures to nil and can record just a second victory at XX in their last six visits.
Best bet: Queen of the South to win to nil @ 7/2
Rangers v Falkirk
The Ibrox faithful have been spoilt for goals lately with the league leaders netting four or more in six of their last seven home fixtures in all competitions.
Falkirk probably need to win to keep their title challenge alive, but with Mark Warburton’s men playing like they are that could be a big ask.
Throw in that the Bairns are winless in three, have triumphed in just one in five on the road and have conceded three or more in five of their last six visits to Rangers and this only looks like going one way.
Best bet: Rangers to score over 2.5 goals @ 21/20
St Mirren v Alloa Athletic
Things aren’t looking good for Alloa. Glued to the bottom of the table, losing 10 of their last 12 Championship fixtures, it’s beginning to look like it will be League 1 football for the Wasps next term.
They’ve only scored two goals in their last 10 fixtures and need to start scoring if they are to stay in the division.
While St Mirren aren’t consistently winning, at least they are finding the back of the net and after winning 2-0 at the Indodrill just before Christmas, and can be fancied to double up here.
Best bet: St Mirren to win to nil @ 29/20
