They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and if what ‘they’ say is true Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be huge fans of the latest Ladbrokes video series.

The bookmakers, sponsors of all four Scottish football leagues, have invited selected members of the country’s 42 league clubs to take part in a challenge of nerve and skill.

The Ladbrokes Football Star in a Rally Car will see representatives from clubs including Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts put through their paces around the famous Knockhill rally circuit.

We couldn’t let the players loose round the track until we knew it was safe, though, and that meant handing the car over to our famed football pundit for testing.

Some say he can think of no animal fiercer than a beaver. Some say players can get sent off right under his nose without him noticing and some say 37 per cent of his vocabulary is made up of the word “unbelievable” … all we know is – he’s called Kammy!

Check out how Chris got on below and stay tuned for your favourite star’s turn…
