Many will still clearly remember Wales’s thumping performance over England at the Millennium Stadium back in March, to deny the English the Six Nations Championship and claim a second successive title.

It was the second half performance in particular that saw Wales power through the English line, with Alex Cuthbert roaring over twice in the second period.

Cuthbert claimed four tries in total in the famous competition, twice as many as anybody else.

The 23-year-old racked up three tries in last year’s Grand Slam campaign too, and it is that sort of explosive record that makes him joint-favourite at 3/1 to be the top Lions Tour tryscorer.

The other joint-favourite in the market is Cuthbert’s Welsh team-mate George North, who has firmly announced himself on the international stage.

The 21-year-old  is the youngest player ever to claim 10 international tries for Wales and is the youngest ever try scorer in a Rugby World Cup.

North recently announced a three-year deal with Northampton Saints and the current Scarlets man seems to know no limits.

Nine tries in 13 RaboDirect Pro12 matches this season suggests he is in fine form ahead of his first Lions tour.

Wales players dominate the squad  with 15 players, but Ireland boast a recovering Tommy Bowe, 5/1 to go over more times than any other.

A knee injury  saw Bowe ruled out of the Six Nations this year, but to have been included in the Lions squad so soon after returning from injury is a massive vote of confidence for the Irishman.

Bowe has claimed a couple of tries already on his return to action with Ulster, and his previous form is a clear indicator of his international quality.

Bowe went over four times during the last Lions tour in South Africa in 2009,  and has racked up six tries in the Six Nations since then, including three in 2012.
