There will have been some intense preparations behind the scenes in the lead-up to this weekend’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup ties.

However, we’ve been trying to lighten the mood and in doing so got hold of a pair of trophy hopefuls ahead of their big game.

In the red corner we have Wakefield Wildcats’ ‘Captain Kirmo’, otherwise known as Danny Kirmond.

And on the other side of the fence is Leigh Centurions’ kingpin and former Wildcat, Oliver Wilkes.

Rather than over-exert the lads in the build-up to their crunch sixth round encounter we decided to offer them an altogether different type of test.
