Tottenham Hotspur are the subject of a significant late gamble with Ladbrokes to win the rights to use Stratford after the Olympic Games.
With the decision due this week money is pouring in for Tottenham and they are now 9/4 (from 7/2) to win the bid, with West Ham easing out to 8/11.
The shared bid remains an unlikely 50/1 chance and it’s 5/2 (from 2/1) that neither team end up using the ground.
The firm have also opened a book on the future of Spurs irrespective of Stratford and they go odds-on (10/11) that they do build a new ground anywhere outside their current borough of Harringey.
It’s 2/1 they develop their current site and stay in the borough.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Levy has talked a good game and it seems to be convincing the punters that Spurs are going to Stratford. Even if they fail to secure that bid it appears only a matter of time before they leave Harringey.”
