Step aside Francesco Guidolin, the Swansea fans have spoken and they want Ryan Giggs to take your place in the Liberty Stadium hot-seat.

That’s the conclusion brought about by our latest Twitter poll with 74 per cent of voters opting for Giggs over the Italian incumbent and just 26 per cent in favour of him remaining in charge.

This result will surely only intensify the speculation surrounding the future of 60-year-old Guidolin with the current gaffer rumoured to be on the brink following a poor run of form.

The Swans have won just one of their opening five games in the Premier League and crashed out of the EFL Cup against Manchester City last night.

And should that trend continue then expect odds of 6/4 on Giggs to become the next permanent Swansea manager to tumble further.

But does the Welsh wizard have what it takes to succeed in South Wales?
