If there was ever a day in which there was a genuine argument for the remote control to be in your hand at all times, then it’s this Saturday. Celtic face Rangers, Man United face Man City, it’s Ladbrokes St Ledger Day and the O2 Arena plays host to the biggest boxing night of the year to date.

But it’s the early kick-off in the Ladbrokes Premiership that our Twitter followers are looking forward to the most, with 65 per cent of you agreeing that Celtic v Rangers Rangers is this weekend’s most hotly anticipated event. In second place was the Manchester derby with 21 per cent of the vote while the day’s racing and boxing action were both way off.

It’ll be the first time the two sides have met in a league fixture since 2012, as well as Bhoys’ boss Brendan Rodgers’ first ever derby north of the border.

And with both sides locked in first and second place in the table, it’s clear to see why so many of you are looking forward to this one.

And there’ll certainly be a tough decision to make in every house across the UK come lunchtime, as Manchester United and Manchester City will kick-off just thirty minutes after the Celtic game.

Throw into the mix tomorrow’s meeting at Doncaster starting from 14:00 and we reckon there might just about be a television on in every possible room in your house!

And if that wasn’t enough, strap yourself in for a huge night of excitement after the Liverpool v Leicester game.

Nope, we’re not talking about X Factor, we’re talking about the biggest night of boxing this year to date, as Gennady Golovkin faces Kell Brook, who is stepping up two divisions to challenge the undefeated pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.

Not a bad way to round of proceedings, even if only 11 per cent of you are looking forward to it the most.
