Popular BBC debating forum Question Time will take on a very election-focused look this Thursday when Prime Minister David Cameron, his deputy Nick Clegg and opposition leader Ed Miliband take part in a very streamlined panel.

The leaders of the three ‘main’ parties have the floor, with regular host David Dimbleby fielding the questions and anyone tuning in ought to pay close attention to Ladbrokes ever-popular Buzzword Bingo.

The name game which pays has done just that in recent times, as the three prior live debates in the build up to polling day on May 7th have all delivered on various earmarked sound bites.

With uncomfortable political bed mates Cameron and Clegg deciding to swerve the last edition, which contained all the other party leaders of note, mud is certain to be slung from Milliband’s podium.

For this reason alone, the phrase ‘Out Of Touch’ looks more certain than Postman Pat to deliver at 6/4, being an accusation regularly levelled at his opposite number by the Labour chief during the campaign so far and particularly in relation to his no-show.

In light of Miliband’s impromptu YouTube appearance alongside ‘revolutionary’ Russell Brand, however, which Cameron has since ridiculed, this could be another profitable area.

Brand’s whole stance is based around the corruption involved in the capitalist system, and, in particular, the apparent disregard for law of the international banks at its core.

Cameron may well point to the paradox in the lack of regulation under Labour that contributed directly to the 2008 global financial crisis, so expect ‘Labour’s Economic Mess’ to be one of the most value-heavy choices at 6/1.

The state of the nation’s coffers in general is sure to be one of the main battle grounds and between them Liberal Democrat leader Clegg and his Tory boss in Number 10 are almost nailed on to utter the terms ‘Hard Choices’ and ‘Tough Decisions’ at 2/1 and 9/4 respectively.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
