With a rare night of current football set to take place tonight, now seems the perfect time to take advantage of some generous odds in an attempt to land a nice little accumulator.

We have attempted to correctly predict seven results from across the current batch of Euro 2012 qualifiers and international friendlies and if they all come in, the payout is a tidy 18/1.

Leading the way is the friendlies, with Italy 8/11 to beat the Republic of Ireland.

Italy have named a strong squad in the hope of extending their winning run to four games, while the Republic of Ireland are weakened by a number of key absentees, most notable of which are Shay Given and the in-form Robbie Keane.

Spain are also in friendly action as they travel to Venezuela and are 4/11 to secure victory.

The World Cup holders have taken a strong squad to Venezuela, with rumours suggesting that Andres Iniesta, Pedro, David Villa and Fernando Llorente will all start.

Elsewhere, Norway are 4/9 to win at home to a Lithuania team that lost in Liechtenstein in their most recent game, while 2/7 seems a fair price that the USA will prove too strong for Canada.

Looking at the Euro 2012 qualifiers, there are a lack of standout games.

The Faroe Islands have lost nine of their last 11 games and there is no reason to believe that they will avoid defeat against Estonia, with the visitors 4/7 to secure the three points that will keep them in contention in Group C.

Bosnia are 4/9 to beat Albania and should profit from having the likes of Edin Dzeko in their ranks, while the final part of the accumulator is the 5/6 that under 3.5 goals are scored in Germany’s trip to Azerbaijan.

Germany may have won 6-1 in their home fixture against the opposition, but Azerbaijan beat Turkey 1-0 in their only home game in the group to date, while fewer than 3.5 goals have been scored in eight of Azerbaijan’s last nine home games.
