We know what you’re thinking, Ladbrokes News is brilliant during the day but lacks a little substance during the midnight hours.

Well fear not night owls, through-the-night betting has become easier thanks to the Insomniac – Ladbrokes news’ new sleep-deprived tipster.

From dusk till dawn – it’s ok, no Quentin Tarantino cameos here – our new feature will focus purely on sporting events that are taking place during the night, offering punters the chance to turn a profit while you sleep.

Tonight the Insomniac focuses on the NBA Finals and the fourth tie between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat

Miami Heat @ Dallas Mavericks

Despite Miami’s 88-86 Sunday night victory over Dallas in which they took a crucial 2-1 lead in the AmericanAirlines Centre, the Heat remain the underdogs to win the fourth game in the seven game series at 13/10.

The Mavericks won both of the games at home to the Heat in the regular season and are the 5/7 favourites to win tonight, and coach Rick Carlisle will be hoping his side can rack up the points tonight.

All eyes will be on the Maverick’s Dirk Nowitzki as he looks to combat the power of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James, and the power forward’s influence on this game will be huge.

It’s 20/21 that there is over 168.5 points in the tie and every time a game involving the Mavericks has surpassed that total, Dallas have won.

Should Nowitzki repeat his 34-point performance from the third game and the likes of Jason Terry, Shawn Marion and Tyson Chandler up their contribution, Dallas will level the series.

Dallas’ victory in the second game came thanks to a 22-point closing run in which the Heat managed just 5 points, and the Mavericks are 5/6 to win the fourth quarter with a -0.5 start in the spread.

But Miami have won six of their last seven NBA Finals games, four of them by three points or less, and while the Heat look a huge price at 13/10, take the Heat’s +3 point spread at 20/21.
