Few occasions can match the hype and razzmatazz offered by WWE’s Wrestlemania and the 30th edition of the organisation’s showpiece is unlikely to disappoint.
And there’s one match in particular that catches the eye.
Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker are set to go toe-to-toe in the ring and settle a simmering feud that’s been re-ignited ahead of the event in New Orleans.
The Beast’s recent assault on The Deadman on Monday Night Raw was a tantalising precursor of a contest that contains a host of rich sub-plots as he prepares to make a thrilling comeback.
But having fallen to the ‘Taker in two previous bouts there’s no doubt that 16/1 Lesnar is battling against a foe who enjoys the upper-hand psychologically.
However, at odds of 1/100 there’s little value to be had in backing an opponent who’s unbeaten in 21 previous bouts at Wrestlemania and opting for a thrilling upset could be the way to go.
Lesnar’s brute force is a trademark that has earned him admiration from onlookers both in and outside of the ring and if he can harness the lethal power that made him such an attraction in the past then The Phenom’s streak could be broken.
Elsewhere, John Cena bids to silence up-and-comer Bray Wyatt with The Prototype the 11/4 outsider for victory.
Wyatt is a 1/4 shot to deliver on The Grandest Stage of Them All and defeat the face of WWE although Cena will be gunning for revenge having seen his bid for a 15th championship brutally ended at the hands of the Wyatt family.
Another wrestling legend could be making one of his final appearances at the extravaganza with Kane 7/2 to beat The Shield in a six-man tag-team bout where he’ll be accompanied by The New Age Outlaws.
The Shield, a trio containing Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, are the 1/6 favourites to exact revenge upon their rivals for scuppering their WWE Tag Team Championship bid last month.
