It’s set to be a cracking final day of the St Leger Festival, with Capri, Crystal Ocean and Stradivarius all eying the final Classic of the season .

There are also two Group 2 clashes to get stuck into at Doncaster, as well as trio of fascinating races from Chester.

ITV have seven races in total this Saturday, peaking with the St Leger itself at 15:35.

As always, we’ve marked your card for a super Saturday of racing…

NAP – Mythical Magic – 15:00, Doncaster

Charlie Appleby’s two-year-old is on for the hat-trick after impressive showings at Deauville and Ascot.

The son of top-rated sire Iffraaj made-all when sprinting to victory in the Prix Francois Boutin last time out.

And with the ground no issue, we’re backing the Godolphin runner to repeat the feat in the Champagne Stakes.

Need more reason to be confident?

Trainer Charlie Appleby won this renewal in 2013 and 2015. Plus, the yard also has a strike rate of 38% in the last 14 days.

Mythical Magic is the one to be on this Saturday.

NB – Home of the Brave – 14:25, Doncaster

This tasty Group 2 clash looks tailor-made for Home of the Brave.

Hugo Palmer’s five-year-old loves the ground and arguably holds the best form coming into this renewal.

Home Of The Brave followed up a confident victory in the Criterion Stakes with a narrow second in the Lennox Stakes.

After just over a month off, we think the Godolphin speedster can return to winning ways over his favourite trip.

Lively Longshot – Stradivarius – 15:35, Doncaster

In a field littered with high-class contenders, this year’s St Leger looks a difficult race to call.

But it’s the impressive Stradivarius that gets the nod.

John Gosden’s charge has been highly progressive and holds the best form going into the final Classic of the season.

His victory over Big Orange in the Goodwood Cup makes for particularly impressive reading.

And that followed up a similarly impressive showing in the Queen’s Vase at Glorious Goodwood.

He is the form horse.

Providing we don’t get any more cut in the ground the son of Sea the Stars has the class to see off his fancied competitors.
