Peach has been chalked up as the favourite colour for the Queen’s hat on Day Four of Royal Ascot according to the latest odds.

Her Majesty has worn yellow, green and pink so far, but today Peach is the favourite shade at 2/1.

Purple or White are next best in the betting at 5/2, ahead of Beige at 5/1 and Orange at 6/1. A brazen Red is priced at 25/1, while Brown is an outsider at 40/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “After going back to the fuschia today, the odds suggest that the Her Majesty will go for a peach hat on day four of the royal meeting.”

“So far punters haven’t been too successful with their predictions, but there seems to be an air of confidence around peach.”
