I’ve been taking some time out this week to re-energise ahead of my latest assignments and it’s done me the world of good heading into this next part of the season.
It was great to go back to Sardinia, relax in the sun with my dad, catch-up wth some old friends and take a break.
And I’m confident that now I’m back I’ll get the job done and hit the 3,000!
When I return to ride with a tan the winners usually roll in, so I’m looking forward to hitting the milestone at either my hometown course on Friday night or at the big meeting at Newbury on Saturday.
The 3,000 has been hanging over me for a while now so it will be really nice to get it out of the way.
But it’s important for me to hit the target at HQ or on a big day.
I’m feeling relaxed as I know it’s only a matter of time. But hopefully I won’t have to answer many more questions about it!
Newmarket is a sell-out on Friday night for Jess Glynne so if I get the milestone up there it will be a real thrill.
One thing is for sure, the punters are guaranteed a great time no matter what.
I’ve got some nice rides with Blue Geranium a nice filly who improved last time out so at the very least I hope to get one on the board.
*We’re going all out to support Frankie at Newmarket tonight, and we’re 10/1 he hits the magical 3,000 winners this evening.*
