It’s a much-debated topic among golfing aficionados, but we can reveal that the Masters is the greatest Major of all.
With the 145th Open Championship in full swing at Royal Troon, we thought it apt to take to Twitter and find out what you good people think is the best of the four Majors.
Do you prefer the challenging pitfalls of a Links course? Or those beautiful greens at Augusta?
What about the US Open or the final Major of the year – the PGA Championship?
Well, the votes are in and they have been counted, and it is a resounding success for The Masters.
Augusta came home with 59 per cent of the vote, leaving us wondering if we have more American followers than we realise.
In second place was the historic British Open with 30 per cent, well ahead of the US Open in third.
That meant there wasn’t much love left for the, perhaps least favourite Major, the PGA Championship.
But while Augusta takes all the spoils, it’s impossible to keep your eyes off Royal Troon and the Open Championship this weekend.
