Following last week’s thrilling Bahrain Grand Prix, the 2018 Formula One season moves swiftly on to China.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel has won the opening two rounds so far, building a 17-point lead over title rival Lewis Hamilton.
The Briton could be set to bounce back in Shanghai however, where the cooler conditions should favour Mercedes over Ferrari.
Hamilton is 10/11 favourite to collect victory on Sunday, and has an excellent record at the event – winning five times already.
Mercedes have also gone well in China. The Silver Arrows have won each of the last four Chinese Grand Prix, and that run stretches to five of the last six.
Vettel hasn’t enjoyed anything like the same form, with the German’s sole Chinese victory coming way back in 2009.
Our traders go 9/4 for the 30-year-old to win again this weekend.
Hamilton’s team-mate Valtteri Bottas is 15/2. The Finn was second last time out, but couldn’t quite get past Vettel in the closing stages.
Both Ferrari and Mercedes could face a fight from Red Bull this weekend.
Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo retired early in Bahrain, but the team were confident that they had the pace to challenge for victory.
Kimi Raikkonen was denied last week too. The Finn won the Chinese Grand Prix in 2007, and is 14/1 to do so again 11 years later.
Further back, Pierre Gasly shone last time out by finishing fourth for Toro Rosso. The young Frenchman is 11/4 to back that up with another top-six result.
He was followed home in Bahrain by the Haas of Kevin Magnussen. The American squad have shown great pace this season, and there’s 9/4 for Magnussen to finish in the top six.
