Formula One’s hectic schedule continues this Sunday with the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The race is the fifth in a little over a month, and offers Sebastian Vettel an immediate chance to make amends after crashing out of the lead in Germany.
Vettel sits 17 points behind championship rival Lewis Hamilton in the standings, with 10 of this year’s 21 races still to go.
Hungary GP odds
Ferrari dominated this event 12 months ago and the Hungaroring is expected to suit the Italian outfit once again. Vettel is 15/8 favourite to win this weekend and get his title challenge back on track.
But the twisty Budapest venue could also spark a revival from Red Bull. Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen were in a league of their own back at the similarly windy Monaco in May.
Should the Red Bulls and Ferrari be on form, then it could be a difficult weekend for Hamilton. The Briton was at his scintillating best in Germany to win from 14th on the Grid, and he is a five-time winner in Hungary.
Alternative F1 odds
Kimi Raikkonen loves a podium finish, and particularly so in Hungary. The Finn has finished second six times in the past, and could be an each-way option at 14/1.
With no other drive shorter than 1000/1 in the race betting, there’s 5/4 about Nico Hulkenberg to grab a third top-six finish in a row.
The Sauber’s have been making notable improvements in recent months. Marcus Ericsson has often been left in the shadows of team-mate Charles Leclerc this term.
