Having wrapped up the world championship last time out in Mexico, the pressure is off for newly-crowned five-time champion Lewis Hamilton.

The Englishman can now enjoy the final two races of the season, starting with this Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.

Brazilian GP Race Winner Odds

Hamilton has only ever won once in Brazil, however. He’s second favourite to win the race at 21/10.

Sebastian Vettel is the 13/8 favourite. The German won this race last year and will be out to help Ferrari win the constructors’ title from Mercedes.

Valtteri Bottas has endured a fraught year. Bad luck denied the Finn two wins earlier in the year, before team-mate Hamilton upped his game to a level he couldn’t match.

Bottas has sacrificed his own races to aid Hamilton’s title bid too, and the team have said they will repay the favour if the situation should arrive. There’s 5/1 about Bottas to win his first race of 2018 on Sunday.

Red Bull have won four races this season, with two apiece for Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.

The pair could thrive on Interlagos’ twisty middle sector. Verstappen is 15/2 for a second win in succession, with Ricciardo 12/1 on his penaultimate drive for the team before joining Renault in 2019.

Alternative Brazilian GP Odds

Vettel hasn’t been the fastest qualifier since his home race in Germany. He’s the 6/5 favourite to end that run, with Hamilton at 5/4.

Further back, Fernando Alonso will be hoping to last the distance this weekend. The Spaniard has been punted out early in the last two races.

He’s 7/4 for another non-finish, but 13/5 to haul his reluctant McLaren into the points for the 10th time this season.
