Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the European bubble of World Cup qualification.

There are still four spots up for grabs for the UEFA nations with the play-offs to come.

But there are plenty of teams outside this continent with a chance of making this summer’s showpiece.

The Ladbrokes News Team takes a look at who can still qualify from South America, Asia, and Africa.

Oceania/South America

All but one place is yet to be decided between these two federations.

It all comes down to a play-off between New Zealand and Peru for a spot in Russia this summer.

The All Whites topped their group but will face a tough task against a Peru side who came can impressive fifth.

It’s a two-legged affair with New Zealand hosting Peru in Wellington on November 11. The return leg sees the Kiwis go to Lima four days later.

Asia/CONCACAF

There’s another play-off scenario here with just one spot to be decided between Asia and the CONCACAF teams.

Australia and Honduras clash for that place with Honduras hosting the first leg on November 10.The return leg will be played at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

This one looks particularly tough to call. The Aussies are in with a great shout.

Honduras could still be suffering from that heart-breaking, late goal conceded to Costa Rica which pushed them into this play-off.

Africa

The group stages in Africa have actually yet to finish. There are still three places up for grabs with a trio of groups to be decided.

Tunisia have to bag a solitary point against Libya to qualify from Group A. Thankfully, the Libyans are rock-bottom with no hope of qualifying.

Senegal need just two points to qualify, with both games against South Africa. Bafana Bafana can still feasibly qualify with two wins, even from the bottom of the group. But it’s Senegal’s to lose.

Ivory Coast have a much more difficult task to make it to Russia. The White Elephants must beat top-of-the-table Morocco at home to overtake Herve Renard’s side and qualify.
