The World Cup action ramps up today, with three clashes on the cards.

Portugal v Spain is the headliner, and you can check out our full preview of that game right here. But there’s plenty to get stuck into before the evening’s Iberian tussle.

We’ve got you covered with our tips on the day’s first two games, kicking off with the second Group A fixture.

Egypt v Uruguay

The Egyptians are rushing to get Mohamed Salah fit, but it’s a race against time. They also head into this game on the back of a six-game winless run, and should be easy prey for a Uruguay side with one of the tournament’s best forward lines.

La Celeste netted three or more times in five of their qualification games. It’s 16/5 for Uruguay to score 3+ Goals, whilst a 3-0 victory is priced at 10/1.

They’re firm favourites in the match betting, at odds of 6/10. Meanwhile, the draw is 5/2 and an Egypt win is out at 11/2.

Edinson Cavani could be the difference-maker, having netted in four of Uruguay’s last six matches. He’s Evens to net Anytime, while the prolific Paris Saint-Germain man is 4/1 to Score Two or More Goals. Teammate Luis Suarez is the same odds in both markets.

Morocco v Iran

The Moroccans conceded just one goal in eight qualifying games to get here, despite facing tough opposition in Ivory Coast and Mali.

Iran aren’t a bad side, and have some attacking quality in the likes of Sardar Azmoun and Heerenveen’s Reza Ghoochannejhad. So another clean sheet for the Atlas Lions isn’t a gimme.

However, Herve Renard’s Morocco should edge this at 6/5. Meanwhile, the odds make it 19/10 for a Draw and 11/4 for an Iran win.

It’s 9-1 for Correct Score: Morocco 2-1. Their key man could be the in-form Khalid Boutaib. The 31-year-old is 2/1 to Score Anytime, and 5/1 to break the deadlock.

For Iran’s part, their best goal threat lies in Azmoun. He’s 23/10 to find the net in St. Petersburg.
