As we edge ever closer to the start of the new Premier League season, deals are getting done on a more regular basis.
Some clubs have been busier than others. But the more time rolls on, the hotter the market will become.
We take you through the day’s rumours and reports of the transfer window…
Will City make a Pjanic buy?
Bar the expected signing of Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City have yet to make a major splash this summer. The Citizens’ hierarchy refused to sanction a mega deal for Napoli’s Jorginho.
But Pep Guardiola could be about to land another midfield star in Juventus ace Miralem Pjanic.
Guardiola is reported to be a big fan of the Bosnia international and already had an approach rebuffed.
Schmeichel to replace Courtois?
Thibaut Courtois looks like he could be exiting Stamford Bridge for as little as £35m. The Belgium international has just one year left on his deal which will force Chelsea to cash in.
But who will replace him? News is circulating that Leicester City stopper Kasper Schmeichel is their number one target.
The Denmark number one had a fantastic World Cup between the sticks. And a move to one of the traditional top-six clubs would be difficult to turn down.
Alisson is a done deal!
It’s been a problem position for a number of seasons, but Liverpool finally look like they’ve solved the goalkeeping issue.
The Reds have just signed Brazil number one Alisson Becker from Roma for a world record fee for a goalkeeper at just over £66m.
Jurgen Klopp will have his fingers crossed he doesn’t suffer a case of the old Karius.
Thiago to Manchester United?
Thiago Alcantara is reportedly on the verge of leaving Bayern Munich after four seasons at the Bavarian giants.
And it looked like Man United and Barcelona are battling it out to get the Spain international on their books.
The player himself is said to fancy a return to Catalonia. But surely sunny Manchester and the magic of Jose Mourinho would be enough to persuade any player to make the move?
Crystal Palace are rumoured to be looking at Sassuolo striker Khouma Babacar. And that could spell trouble for Christian Benteke.
Burnley are said to be interested in signing midfield metronome Sam Clucas for £12m.
And, apparently, Everton are looking at taking a chance on Malcom. Which would be nice for the lad considering everyone else has had a sniff but moved on.
