Zlatan Ibrahimovic is convinced he will get his dream Premier League swansong with a move to Manchester United apparently all but confirmed.
Speculation about the Swede’s future has been rife in recent months but reports in France suggest the rumour mill will die down with Old Trafford his intended destination.
Le Sport 10 claim the PSG forward is already preparing for life in England and will target a Champions League success with the Paris club before he departs.
The man himself, though, remains tight-lipped about his future despite being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
However, the Sweden international is adamant that whoever he signs for will be getting the player at the peak of his powers, not on the wane as some sections of the media suggest.
“I’m not worried about the future, because for me the future looks good after the season I’m doing. People say I’m old. I’m only warming up,” he said.
“I don’t believe it’s the end of my career. Age is just a number and I feel young, I feel very young. I never had better statistics than this.”
The giant Swede is next in action against Chelsea tonight and is the favourite to have the biggest impact on the game.
Odds of 9/2 say Zlatan will open the scoring and the PSG man is also favourite to score at anytime at 6/4.
It’s 15/2 for two or more goals and 40/1 to net a memorable hat-trick but the 4/1 on Ibrahimovic scoring in a PSG win could be the value bet of the night and a result that endears Zlatan to United’s fans before his imminent arrival.
