West Bromwich Albion are closing in on the signing of Tottenham Hotspur’s Kevin Wimmer, according to our odds.

The Baggies have been linked with a £15m move for the centre-back, though Tottenham were reluctant to sell until they had lined up a replacement.

Spurs have now agreed a deal for Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez, which clears the way for Wimmer’s departure.

West Brom are odds-on to sign him at 4/6. Stoke City are also interested in the Austria international, though they’re behind at 4/1.

Jonny Evans has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City recently, though West Brom are understood to want Wimmer to play alongside Evans, rather than replace him.

Wimmer only started four league games last season and will hope to feature more regularly at The Hawthorns.
