Many Tottenham fans feared the worst when Harry Kane was ruled out for the remainder of the season through injury. But the Lilywhites have proved they can survive without their star striker, with three wins on the trot.

And they look set to make it four-in-a-row when they host Watford on Saturday.

Not only are they now unbeaten in eight games – winning seven of those – but Spurs can also boast an excellent head-to-head record against the Hornets.

The North London club have won each of the last six meetings between the pair – though Watford have frequently run them close. In fact, four of those six games have ended with Spurs winning by a one-goal margin.

There’s 11/4 on offer for Tottenham to win by 1 goal again here, something they’ve already done on 10 occasions this season.

But while we’re confident of a Spurs win, it could well take them until the second period to do the damage.

Of the last five clashes between this pair, three have been level at the interval – with Spurs going on to win each one. So Half Time/Full Time: Draw/Tottenham could prove a very savvy bet at 3/1.

And we reckon goals will be very much on the agenda. Eight of Spurs’ last nine games have produced three or more goals, while Watford boast the dubious honour of having the worst defensive record in the top 10.

So the 8/13 for Over 2.5 Goals looks like something of a banker.

One man you can expect to find among the scorers is Heung Min-Son. The South Korean has now netted five goals in his last four outings.

He’s 17/20 to score anytime against the Hornets, while 3/1 says he’s the game’s last goalscorer for the sixth time in 2017.

In the match betting, Spurs are 1/4 favourites for victory – unsurprising considering that Watford haven’t taken a point from White Hart Lane since May 1985.

However, you can back them to end that barren spell, with 9/2 on offer for the draw, and 12/1 for the Hertfordshire side to record a shock victory.
