After a very solid start to their Premier League life, Swansea City have struggled in recent weeks.
A far from humiliating 1-0 defeat against Manchester United was followed by a goalless draw against Aston Villa before their dire 4-2 defeat away to Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
Meanwhile, Fulham picked up a brilliant win against Liverpool on Monday and head to south Wales full of confidence…
Despite their humbling at Blackburn, Swansea head into this game as 6/4 favourites.
They have a very decent record at the Liberty and have lost just once there this season.
However, Fulham have gone three games without defeat in the Premier League and can be backed at 9/5 to win.
Two of those games have ended in draws though and, with Swansea also drawing two of their previous four, backing the game to finish level at 9/4 is well worth consideration.
Swansea’s position as favourites is thanks in no small part to their brilliant home defence.
The Swans have shipped just two goals at the Liberty this season and boast the best home defence in the whole of the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Fulham have the third worst away attack in the league and have won just one away game so far – and that was against bottom of the table Wigan Athletic.
The Swans haven’t exactly been smashing in the goals either and, with impressive midfielder Joe Allen missing through suspension, they will struggle to carve open the Cottagers.
As always in a Swansea home game, backing under 2.5 goals looks well worth a punt at 8/13.
