Ladbrokes have been keeping their cards close to their chest in relation to Premier League relegation in recent weeks, but now it seems that the decision has been made on which three teams will not beat the drop.
Four teams have been odds-on for Premier League relegation in recent weeks, with two or three other teams also relative short prices to go down.
However, after this weekend’s results, some major changes have taken place in the market, with West Ham, Blackpool and Wigan now considered highly likely to be relegated and Wolves surviving.
West Ham’s odds of survival are minimal following their draw with Blackburn and they are now a short 1/12 to be relegated.
The Hammers are four points from safety with two games left and must win their final fixtures and hope for other results to go in their favour if they are to pull off the great escape.
Blackpool are also largely expected to make an immediate return to the Championship at 1/4, particularly as they are in the bottom three and still have a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United to come on the final day of the season.
Wigan are the other team to currently occupy one of the relegation places and are 1/3 to go down.
But they could be worth opposing as they have a home game with West Ham left, which is certainly winnable, with the other fixture being at Stoke, who may not be totally up for the game having played in the FA Cup final.
Wolves are now 11/8 to be relegated following their win over West Brom, but Blackburn could be the team at bigger Premier League odds of 4/1, who may still be worth considering.
Blackburn could easily lose their final two games against Manchester United and away at Wolves and their current total of 39 points could still see them relegated.
