Price Boost: Arsenal to best Everton as both sides score

The early kick off may be seen as the scourge of modern football by some and the perennial accumulator killer by others but there’s every reason to get involved this week.

On Saturday afternoon Ladbrokes is boosting the price on Arsenal to beat Everton and both teams to score from 7/2 to an extremely tempting 7/1.

This fantastic boost will be available from the moment the Aston Villa v Newcastle build-up begins at 12:15, right up until the first goal of the game so be ready to make the most of this market leading price.

The odds are not the only reason to get involved though, with history suggesting that a Gunners victory in a game where both sides find the back of the net is highly likely.

Everton may have strolled to a comfortable 3-0 win over the Emirates residents last time out but that win is the only time Roberto Martinez’s men have taken maximum points from the Gunners in 15 attempts.

Of the remaining 14 fixtures Arsenal have run out winners nine times, while there have been five occasions where proceedings have ended all square.

And with Arsenal getting their season off to a winning start – albeit through a last minute winner against Crytsal Palace – and Everton twice blowing a lead against newly promoted Leicester to draw 2-2, Gunners fans will be confident of making it back-to-back wins when they run out at Goodison Park.

Both sides have scored and conceded already and while Calum Chambers has earned rave reviews for his brief spell as Arsenal’s new centre-half sensation, Palace showed last week that the Gunners back line could still benefit from reinforcement.

That said, the Gunners should still have too much for Everton in attack.

If Leicester’s strike force, which is largely unproven at the highest level, can break the Toffees’ back four and get past World Cup star Tim Howard then the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Oliver Gir … OK maybe not Giroud … could have a field day.
