Team Name: Leicester

Current Premier League position: 12th

Giddy highs: The form of Leonardo Ulloa has delighted Foxes fans and silenced doubters in equal measure so far this season, with the Argentine smashing five goals from his first seven games in the English top flight.

The highlight of the season so far is obvious; that 5-3 win over Manchester United which saw the Foxes come from behind to stun the 20-time champions in a match that will go down in Leicester folklore.

Crushing lows: Leicester have showed that they are here to do more than make up the numbers but it is results against the likes of Burnley and Crystal Palace – and not the win over United – that will ultimately shape their season.

A tally of one point from games with the Eagles and the Clarets in their last two fixtures could be a cause for concern.

Shining Star: Leonardo Ulloa

The former Brighton striker has made many critics – including this writer – eat their words. Any question marks hanging over the £8m signing have been well and truly banished by his explosive start to the campaign.

A brace against United in a home win is the stuff dreams are made of and long may his form continue.

Biggest Disappointment: Marc Albrighton

He may have signed from Aston Villa on a free but the 24-year-old arrived to some fanfare after some impressive displays for the Villans.

He has played just 48-minutes of Premier League football since moving to the King Power stadium and has yet to impose himself on the team in the way many expected.

Best bet for the rest of the season: Top Midlands Club @ 12/5

Grade: B+

Final Thoughts: With just one loss from their last five games and the likes of Newcastle, QPR and Burnley really struggling at the foot of the table Leicester look a good bet to avoid the drop this season.

It’s early days yet but if they continue in this vein the fans could be keeping a closer eye on the top 10 than what’s happening with the relegation zone.
