Manchester United could be about to swoop for Barcelona central midfielder Sergi Roberto, if the latest odds are to be believed.

Our traders think his days in Spain are coming to a close and have brought him in to 5/2 from 5/1 for a move to Manchester United.

The 25-year-old is out of favour at the Nou Camp and could be tempted by a move to Old Trafford.

And with Barca recently adding Nelson Semedo to their squad Roberto’s days appear numbered.

In 32 league appearances for Barca last season the midfielder failed to score, but did chalk up six assists.

His most famous moment however, came in the Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

On as a 76th minute substitute, the 5ft 10in ace popped up right at the end to score the vital goal in a 6-1 victory.

United manager Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be a big admirer of the talent and has already seen a bid of £36m turned down by the Spanish giants.
