Manchester City are now just 1/6 to win this season’s Premier League.

The Citizens saw off Burnley 3-0 on Saturday, while pre-season foes Manchester United lost.

Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils suffered a shock 2-1 loss away at Huddersfield Town, and are now 12/1 shots for the title.

Having already drawn with Liverpool last weekend, the Old Trafford outfit now sit five points behind their local rivals.

It means our traders are more convinced than ever that Pep Guardiola’s Citizens will win the league this season.

And if anyone is to challenge them, the odds suggest it won’t be United.

That’s because Tottenham Hotspur have leapfrogged Mourinho’s men to become new second favourites at 10/1.

The North Londoners continued their excellent form with a 4-1 hammering of Liverpool on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side now sit level with United, five points behind City.

Spurs have won four league games on the spin, and attention now turns to their huge trip to Old Trafford next weekend.

Chelsea came from behind to beat Watford in Saturday’s lunchtime game, but the Blues appear unlikely to defend their title at this stage.

Antonio Conte’s men are already nine points off the pace, and title odds of 20/1 highlight their plight.

Arsenal thumped Everton 5-2 on Sunday, but remain some way off the pace at 40/1. Liverpool are the remaining contender of the so-called big six at 66/1.
