Inter Milan ace Ivan Perisic would fit in nicely at Manchester United, according to former Croatia legend Dario Simic.
The ex-AC Milan ace belives Perisic is in for a big summer, with a number of European heavyweights chasing the winger’s signature.
Speaking to TMW, Simic said: “I expected him to leave for a big European club in the last window.
“He has the class to play at the top.”
The 100-capped international added: “I could see him doing well at Manchester United.”
Perisic has shone for Inter this season, scoring seven goals while producing five assists from 22 games in Serie A.
It’s by far the 28-year-old’s most productive season since bagging 10 goals and five assists for Wolfsburg in 2013-14.
And the link with Man United may have some real credibility, with repeated claims that Anthony Martial’s days at Old Trafford are numbered.
The Frenchman’s stats of seven goals and six assists from 22 appearances in all competitions arren’t too shabby.
But the former Monaco star has failed to impress Jose Mourinho this season, and it would surprise nobody to see Martial leave and Perisic arrive this summer.
But it isn’t just the Red Devils who may try to lure the former Borussia Dortmund ace to the Premier League.
Numerous reports have claimed that Arsenal are lining up the winger as a potential replacement, should Alexis Sanchez leave the Emirates this summer.
While United host Saint-Etienne in the Europa League tomorrow night as 3/10 favourites, Arsenal will be hoping Sanchez can do the business tonight.
But the Gunners are away at Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and we make Arsene Wenger’s men 13/2 for a surprise first-leg win.
