Slavisa Jokanovic has replaced Jose Mourinho as the favourite to face the chop in this season’s Premier League Sack Race.

The Fulham boss is under increasing pressure after his side fell to a 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth at the weekend. He’s now just 2/1 to be axed first.

Mourinho is available at 3/1, with Rafael Benitez a 7/1 shot at Newcastle United.

At the other end of the scale, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are considered the safest in the dugout at 100/1 apiece. Chelsea chief Maurizio Sarri is priced up at 66/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Mourinho has headed the betting for some time now but four defeats on the spin puts Jokanovic in sackable territory.”
