The season-end is fast approaching, but as this weekend showed, there are still heaps of points to be won and lost in the Ladbrokes Life Fantasy Football League.

With Leicester continuing their chase for the Premier League title, and Tottenham swatting Manchester United aside with ease, a clear divide emerged between those whose teams fielded Foxes and Spurs men, and those who didn’t.

For the Ladbrokes Life boys, the Gut Truster led the way with a very impressive 79 points.

Captain Aguero got the job done with his penalty versus West Brom, but the major points arrived on Sunday.

Jamie Vardy’s two-goal salvo brought in 13, while clean sheets for Kasper Schmeichel and Rob Huth saw Leicester players bring home 27 points in total.

Tottenham then rounded out the Gut Truster‘s weekend, with goals from both Dele Alli and 15-point hero Toby Alderweireld.

The Believer was right behind however on 72, in what was a decent weekend for the gang.

Again boasting a number of Leicester and Tottenham men, Jose Fonte brought home an extra five points, while Mesut Ozil grabbed seven thanks to his goal versus West Ham.

Believer

Still well above the weekend average, Mr Brightside will be disappointed to have lost out to Gut Truster and the Believer.

A 60-point haul is nothing to be sorry about though, but the lack of Jamie Vardy proved costly as Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku both failed to score.

Two points behind was Generous John on 58, who lost ground in his battle with the Gut Truster.

Captain Aguero brought home must of John’s bacon, with Danny Simpson leading a host of solid-but-unspectacular point-scorers on eight.

That was still a much better performance than the Professor, who would have been humiliated had Jamie Vardy not saved the day on Sunday.

Eoin Barry‘s ‘Like I give a Divock’ leads the way at the top in the race for a £100 Free Bet.

Divock

31 of his 56 points came directly from Vardy and Aguero and he holds a 10-point lead at the top with five weeks remaining.

However with a few double-game weeks to come, everything is still all to play for in the Ladbrokes Life League.
