It’s a good time to be a Chelsea fan right now, with the Blues six points clear at the Premier League summit. But while the title remains the main aim for Antonio Conte’s men, they could chalk up a piece of history far sooner than May, with Evens for the club to break their 11-game record winning league run.

The Blues are currently two wins away from the delightful dozen, with defensive strength at the heart of their incredible revival under the Italian boss.

In their 10 wins so far, they’ve conceded just two goals, chalking up clean sheets against the likes of Manchester United, Everton and last season’s champions Leicester City in the process.

But that’s not to say that Chelsea’s frontmen haven’t impressed. On the contrary, Diego Costa has been in sensational form, netting seven times during the current run – including a match-winner at West Bromwich Albion last week.

The likes of Pedro and a revitalised Eden Hazard have also impressed greatly during the period, with the former involved in six goals during the last ten games, while the Belgian netted five in four during a real purple patch.

With the Stamford Bridge outfit in stellar form and winnable games against Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth up next, the Evens for them to record two more victories and smash the club record looks like excellent value indeed.

Meanwhile, 5/1 says they make it to 14 on the trot to match Arsenal’s best streak – recorded back in 2001-02 – while it’s 9s they gain some local bragging rights by breaking the Gunners’ record.

And ambitious fans can even back Conte’s men to go unbeaten for the rest of the league campaign at the sizeable price of 100/1.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Chelsea are racing towards a sixth league title, and the signs suggest they can do it in style, with the brilliant Blues on the cusp of smashing a famous record.”

They’ll go one step closer by taking all three points at Selhurst Park this weekend, with 6/10 for the Blues to extend their sequence in south London.
