There isn’t much time left of this summer’s transfer window, but Brighton & Hove Albion look to have done all their business.
And their signing of Jose Izquierdo for a club-record fee of £13.5m from Club Brugge takes our Premier League Signing of the Week award.
We could have gone for Manchester United signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic again. We could have gone for Tottenham Hotspur’s club-record move for Davinson Sanchez.
Oliver Burke to West Bromwich Albion and Chris Wood to Burnley were also debated.
So, why Brighton and Izquierdo?
Well, the Seagulls have endured a difficult start to life in the Premier League. They’re pointless and goalless after two games.
They haven’t done too much wrong, but the odd lapse in concentration here and there has hurt them.
And the Seagulls don’t have the quality up front to make up for those errors.
Izquierdo has been dazzling Belgian defences for three years, and the 25-year-old brings a welcome dose of flair and offensive creativity to the South Coast.
Predominantly a left-winger, the Colombian international can play on the right or through the middle, offering Chris Hughton valuable flexibility.
Since moving to Europe from his homeland in 2014, Izquierdo has proven a potent threat upfront.
He netted 15 times and provided seven assists in 2014-15, before adding another seven goals and nine assists a year later as Brugge won the Jupiler League.
And the Colombian continued his goal-plundering ways last season, firing in 16 times while also featuring in the Champions League, scoring against Leicester City.
Quick, creative and remarkably comfortable on either foot, all the signs suggest that Izquierdo’s arrival at Brighton is they spark they need to kick-start their Premier League campaign.
