This time 12 months ago, punters were starting to pile in on the dream that perhaps Leicester City might just win the Premier League. Today the bets are still rolling in, but this time it’s for the Foxes to be relegated.

No reigning champion has ever suffered the drop in the following campaign, but Leicester sit just two points above the bottom three with over a third of the campaign gone.
Claudio Ranieri’s charges have won just three times this season, and have already tasted defeat twice as often as last season.
While they remain solid at the King Power Stadium, it’s the Foxes’ travelling woes which threaten to unravel their campaign.
Alongside Premier League returnees Burnley, Leicester boast just one away point this season, the lowest in the division.
And their troubles are reflected in the form of last season’s heroes.
Jamie Vardy has just two Premier League goals to his name, whereas by this point last year he had just netted in his eleventh straight match, setting a new record.
And Riyad Mahrez is fairing slightly better on three league goals, but all three have come from the penalty spot.
And should you convince yourself that Leicester can’t possibly go down, just remember what happened last season.
Leicester will be hoping to alleviate some of that pressure this weekend, when they head to relegation regulars Sunderland.
