David Beckham’s tears in his final game for PSG may have signaled the end of his football career, but it’s just the start of an exciting period off the pitch for the England international.

Ladbrokes are currently offering odds on a whole host of post-football career options for Beckham with a couple of very interesting options on the cards.

The patriotic Englishman is currently priced at 66/1 to manage the England national team at any time in the future, while he’s a much smaller 16/1 to take charge of a Premier League club.

However, Beckham has repeated time and time again that he has absolutely no intention of going into management and a couple of better punts are definitely available.

Beckham is available at 7/2 to make a U-turn that David Cameron would be proud of and return to playing in the 2013/14 season, although with Brand Beckham still with plenty of room to grow, it’s highly likely he’ll be focusing his efforts on his ambassadorial roles.

The best bet of the lot though is to back the Englishman to be knighted before the end of 2013.

Beckham is almost universally popular and following his starring role in getting the Olympics to London in 2012 and yet another league title in France he would be a popular choice for a knighthood.

He’s currently 6/4 to be knighted for his services to football before the end of 2013 and that looks like a bet well worth serious consideration.
