Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain finally looks to have found some solid form at Arsenal. That was, at least, until he picked up an injury against Manchester United two weeks ago.

That’s apparently done very little to prevent both Everton and Liverpool declaring interest in the England ace though.

And it looks like the two Merseyside outfits will do battle for the midfielder’s signature when the transfer window opens this summer.

The question is: will he go?

Our traders make it an even-money shot that this is his last season with the Gunners, having signed some six years ago.

And were he to move on, it’s now just 5/4 for him to sign for Liverpool this summer.

Jurgen Klopp could certainly do with adding strength in depth for next season, but a lot could depend on where the Reds finish come close of play on Sunday.

If they keep hold of their Champions League spot, a move to Anfield may be too exciting an opportunity for The Ox to turn down – especially if Arsenal themselves finish outside of the top four.

However, if Oxlade-Chamberlain is seeking game-time, a move to Everton might just be the best fit.

And as things stand, the Toffees are 8/1 to add him to their ranks. That’s a significant drop in odds, as we made this move a 25/1 shot just one week ago.

While the 23-year-old’s future is still very much up in the air, one thing’s for sure: whoever he’s playing for next season will be incredibly lucky to have him to call upon.

Having always posed a threat on the ball, he’s upped his game somewhat this campaign, turning into a regular provider of goals for his teammates. His 11 assists in all competitions this year comfortably make this his most productive season in a Gunners shirt.

With that in mind, surely fans would be sad to see him go, wouldn’t they?
