Rank outsiders for victory at 6/1 with Ladbrokes, the temptation may well be to back a Newcastle United win at the Emirates this Saturday, following their fine 2-1 triumph over Chelsea last week but we would advise caution.

The Magpies have lost each of their previous five games against Arsenal with the Gunners understandably priced as 9/20 favourites to pick up three points here, with a draw offered at 7/2 with the bookmaker.

So, rather than back an unlikely Toon win, why not opt for any one of the following three tips.

Arsenal to win to nil @ 13/10

Having drawn a blank on their last visit to the capital, losing 1-0 to West Ham, Newcastle could be in for another day to forget in the Big Smoke, particularly when you consider that the Toon have failed to score in each of their previous three games against Arsenal.

Olivier Giroud to score and Arsenal to win @ 6/5

The Frenchman may still be finding his feet after a spell on the sidelines but after scoring three times in his last three appearances against Newcastle, with Arsenal winning on each occasion, we are confident of seeing the striker find the net in a Gunners win.

Arsenal (-2) to beat Newcastle @ 13/5

The Magpies have endured a torrid time in recent visits to the Emirates, shipping 10 goals over two games against the Gunners. Those victories – 7-3 and most recently 3-0 – coupled with the Gunners 4-1 win away from home against Galatasaray, suggest a big win could be on the cards here.
