Shrewsbury travel to league leaders Chesterfield on Saturday and a win would confirm their place at the top of the betting market after questions over their ability to last the pace at the top of League Two.
Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner will be relishing the test against the league leaders, but Chesterfield have been impressive in their new stadium this season and are yet to lose – they are 1/1 to beat Shrewsbury.
The Shrews hare winless in their last four league games, and haven’t scored in that time, but did win in this fixture last season and are 11/4 to walk away with all three points.
Chesterfield have scored at least two goals in their past five games and considering Shrewsbury’s poor form, the 7/1 on offer for Chesterfield to win 2-0 seems a good bet.
Shrewsbury’s Jake Robinson and Chesterfield’s Craig Davis are towards the top of the scoring charts and they are 7/1 and 5/1 to score first respectively.
Rotherham vs Wycombe
Sixth placed Wycombe travel to third placed Rotherham hopeful of closing the gap on the side that are five points above them.
Wycombe are unbeaten away from home this season and are 11/5 to win on Saturday, but four of their game have been draws and Rotherham have drawn their last two games at home – the draw is available at 12/5.
Rotherham are 6/5 to win at home after some shaky form, but have never lost at home to Wycombe in six meetings and are 7/1 to win 1-0.
The last two games between these two sides have ended goalless and there were only five goals in the previous four matches which suggests the 9/10 available for under 2.5 goals is worth taking.
Chesterfield are 7/2 favourites to win League Two with Rotherham 11/2 and Shrewsbury and Wycombe both 8/1. See the full NPower League Two football betting odds market here.
