Chesterfield’s six-point lead at the top of League Two is set to get bigger on Saturday, but Crewe Alexandra and Rotherham United can close the gap on second-place Wycombe Wanderers.
Wycombe aren’t in action paving the way for Crewe and Rotherham to take advantage, but the real winners will be league leaders Chesterfield who can establish a nine-point lead come Saturday evening.
Chesterfield vs Bradford City
Chesterfield’s defence at the B2net Stadium has been poor Bradford have scored just nine goals in their 14 home games and Chesterfield are a great price at 8/11 to win.
Bradford have proved difficult for Chesterfield to break down in recent times, but Bradford have never adapted to life in league two and there away form is awful – Chesterfield can win easily and are 10/1 to win 3-1.
Danny Whitaker is on 11 goals for the season and offers plenty of value to score first at 8/1.
Crewe Alexandra vs Accrington Stanley
Crewe have crept into the top three and you can be sure Dario Gradi intends on remaining there and the Railwayman are 10/11 to beat Accrington on Saturday.
Last season’s double saw the winning side each score five, and goals will be on the agenda on Saturday and Crewe can edge an entertaining game 4-2 which is priced at a lengthy 50/1.
The 15/8 for Crewe to be leading at half time and full time is appealing, as is the 9/2 for Crewe’s Shaun Miller to get the first goal.
Rotherham United vs Stockport County
The two sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw earlier in the month and the 14/5 on offer for a repeat of the draw looks the best value.
Fourth-placed Rotherham have lost their last three starts and after Stockport’s performance in that 3-3 draw, you’d have to say that if anyone was going to win it would be the Hatters at 11/2.
A £10 treble on Chesterfield, Crewe and Stockport winning would return £214.30. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
